Connor McKenzie currently serves as an analyst with Pacific Forum, supporting economic statecraft and next-gen initiatives. Born and raised in Honolulu, HI, he attended the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, where he earned his B.A. in Political Science, and recently received his M.A. in International Relations at American University’s School of International Service through their online program. Connor taught English from 2016 to 2019 as an assistant language teacher with the JET Program. Upon returning, Connor served as an administrative assistant at the Consulate General of Japan in Honolulu. His international experience also includes a semester with the study abroad program at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea.
