Florence Principe Gamboa is the Managing Editor and Coordinator of FACTS Asia and a Technology Policy Fellow at the Pacific Forum. Her current work focuses on the intersection of security and emerging technology. She previously served as a Research, Innovation, and Collaboration Exchange (RICE) Fellow at the East-West Center and as a Non-Resident Vasey Fellow at the Pacific Forum. She was a Research Analyst for Asia Pacific Pathways to Progress, where she specialized in Philippines-China relations and maritime security. Florence holds a Master’s degree in International Studies from the University of the Philippines. Her research expertise includes great power competition, geoeconomics, and the strategic dimensions of Philippine foreign policy.
