Rayanne Fujimoto

Rayanne Fujimoto is a Program Manager at the Pacific Forum. Prior to joining the Pacific Forum, she worked at the U.S. Department of State, where she held roles as a Policy Advisor in the Bureau of Emerging Threats and a Foreign Affairs Officer in the Bureau of Arms Control, Deterrence, and Stability working on emerging security issues including military use of AI, biotechnology, and monitoring developments in quantum technology. As a Presidential Management Fellow, she was detailed to the Ukraine Desk and the U.S.

Mission to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. She was also an NNSA Graduate Fellow at the National Nuclear Security Administration and worked in the Office of the Senate President of the Hawaii State Legislature. She graduated from Georgetown University with an M.S. in Foreign Service, concentrating in Science, Technology, and International Affairs, and from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a B.A. in Political Science and Russian Studies. She was born and raised in Hawaii.
