Rafael Cecilio Berongoy Munoz is a commissioned officer in the Philippine Army and an East-West Center Graduate Degree Fellow currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. A graduate of West Point, his academic and professional interests focus on Indo-Pacific regional security, economic statecraft, and regional policy. In addition to his studies, Rafael works as a research assistant at the University of Hawaiʻi Economic Research Organization.
