Seungjun Yeo

Seungjun Yeo is a candidate for a Master of International Affairs at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, focusing on International Security Policy with a specialization in International Conflict Resolution. He is also an active-duty Army officer in the Republic of Korea Army, with experience in various missions, including Peacekeeping Operations in Lebanon, intelligence analysis work in the Demilitarized Zone, and serving as an air assault company commander. He has previously interned at the CSIS Korea Chair and the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea to the United Nations. His research focuses on strengthening the US-ROK alliance, nuclear deterrence strategy, and broader security dynamics in the Indo-Pacific region. He holds a BSc and a BMASc from the Korea Military Academy.
