Yuka Hinohara is a Ph.D. candidate in Science, Technology and Innovation Governance at the Institute of Science Tokyo and completed a Master’s degree at Waseda University’s Graduate School of Political Science. Hinohara engaged in humanitarian assistance as an NGO and UN staff member in the Gaza Strip, Palestine, Lebanon, and East Africa. While at the Matsushita Institute of Government and Management, she served in the U.S. House of Representatives as an APSA Congressional Fellow. Currently works on technology and digital policy issues, focusing on emerging technologies, economic security, and international cooperation.
