Brian Davis is an Adjunct Senior Fellow with the Pacific Forum. He also serves as a Senior Fellow at the Center for Naval Analyses, a Senior Advisor to the Center for Strategic and International Studies’ China Power Project, and a Senior Advisor with BluePath Labs.
Prior to these roles, Brian had a distinguished 35-year military career, specializing primarily on China and the Indo-Pacific defense and security affairs. He held key positions in the Office of the Secretary of Defense as Senior Country Director for China, Taiwan, and Mongolia, and in multiple diplomatic assignments in the region, including in U.S. embassies in Beijing and Bangkok and in the American Institute in Taiwan. His final military post was Director of the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command’s China Strategic Focus Group.
