ROK-U.S. Alliance: Navigating Challenges and Seizing Opportunities

This timely dialogue will explore the evolving opportunities and challenges in U.S.–ROK relations in the context of shifting global security and economic dynamics, shaped by the leadership of a second Donald Trump administration and a newly inaugurated Lee Jae-myung administration.

The roundtable brings together an esteemed panel of community experts to discuss strategies that can further strengthen the bilateral alliance, with a particular focus on:

●    Analysis of the Policy Direction of the New Trump Administration,
●    North Korea’s Nuclear Issue and Extended Deterrence,
●    Bilateral Economic Cooperation,
●    Shipbuilding Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), and
●    Defense Burden Sharing;

Discussions will also address the broader implications of these developments for peace and security in the Indo-Pacific.

We would be honored by your attendance at this event and welcome your insights and concerns on these pressing regional and global challenges.
