1 April, 2008 - 2 April, 2008
4:00 am

The conference seeks to explore how the three countries, Japan, the United States, and China, can promote their trilateral cooperation in security fields. The notion of security is broad, extending from military operations to environmental cooperation. Our intent is to highlight that non-traditional security issues today are assuming greater importance than before, although traditional security issues should in no way be underestimated. The three countries face many welcome and unwelcome bilateral and trilateral security issues, which hopefully will be treated in the spirit of frankness and mutual respect.
