Diana Victoria Braghis is a rising senior at Pomona College majoring in Philosophy,
Politics and Economics (PPE) with a minor in Japanese. During the 2024-2025 academic
year, she was a visiting student at the University of Oxford, where she completed
coursework in political theory and international relations. Prior to interning at Pacific
Forum, Diana served as the first ever intern at the Embassy of Japan in Moldova, a
research assistant at the European Foundation for Living and Working Conditions
(Eurofound), and a trainee at the European Parliament through the study visit program.
Her research interests include EU-Japan relations, conflict prevention through diplomatic
negotiation processes, and soft power diplomacy. Diana looks forward to contributing to
the mission and work of Pacific Forum during the summer of 2025.
