Evan Williams is an undergraduate student at Pomona College majoring in Public Policy Analysis with a concentration in Political Science. He has experience working at a boutique government relations firm in Washington, D.C., and currently serves as a research assistant to Professor Mietek Boduszynski. In this role, he contributed to a section on great power competition in Eastern Europe-specifically Serbia and Poland -for an upcoming book on democratic values and U.S. foreign policy under the Biden and Trump administrations. His research interests include Chinese foreign investment in Latin America, as well as broader developments in China’s economy and foreign policy.
