Pacific Forum hosted a special event on March 27 supported by the Worldwide Support for Development – Handa Haruhisa Chair in Peace Studies at the Pacific Forum.

Former Prime Minister of Ireland Enda Kenny joined Handa Chair Ralph Cossa for a conversation on “Brexit and Beyond: Why What Happens in Europe Matters” at the Sheraton Hotel in Waikiki. Kenny is an Irish politician who served as leader of the Fine Gael from 2002-2017 and as Prime Minister (Taoiseach) of Ireland from 2011-2017.

Young Leaders, junior analysts and young scholars participated in a roundtable discussion following the luncheon from 2:00-4:00pm in the Honolulu Ballroom at the Sheraton. This special session was an exclusive opportunity for scholars to sit down with the former Prime Minister and engage in a candid conversation on world affairs.
