The Nuclear Energy and Nonproliferation Program examines the role of nuclear technologies (and energy?) in regional security, energy transitions, and global nonproliferation regimes. Pacific Forum brings together policymakers, technical experts, and strategic analysts to explore issues including nuclear deterrence, arms control, civilian nuclear energy deployment, and safeguards.
The program provides a trusted space for dialogue on risk reduction, transparency, and confidence-building, while assessing how new nuclear energy pathways intersect with strategic stability and international norms in the Indo-Pacific. @David Santoro
