Captain Kinnidie White serves as an Information Operations Planner at Camp Humphreys, Republic of Korea, where she integrates information-related capabilities across multiple domains to shape the local operating environment. Her first assignment at the Joint Security Area with the United Nations Command Joint Security Battalion provided her with firsthand exposure to the complexities of inter-Korean relations at one of the world’s most sensitive geopolitical hotspots. Through her work, CPT White seeks to combat mis- and disinformation while fostering opportunities for open, honest dialogue about complex issues. CPT White’s current research interests include examining the impact of information operations on Korean politics and civil unrest, particularly in the context of regional security dynamics. She currently lives in South Korea with her husband, dog, and two cats.
