Ms. Yujin Son holds a Master’s degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a Bachelor’s in International Relations from the University of Sydney. She is currently an intern with the Korea Chair at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Previously, she served in the Political-Military Affairs Unit at the U.S. Embassy in Seoul, as a Governance Intern at UNDP, and as a Research & Data Intern at UN Women. Her research focuses on U.S.–ROK relations, nuclear strategy and extended deterrence, and broader security dynamics in the Indo-Pacific region.
