The U.S. called North Korea "evil." North Korea responded by calling the U.S. "crazy." Stuck in the middle is the South Korean government. This verbal warfare is best left at the school yard. Someone needs to be the adult and restore order and civility. President Kim Dae-jung can be that man. In the upcoming ROK-U.S. summit, South Korea should caution Mr. Bush about the use and abuse of such strong language and encourage North Korea to seize the initiative and engage the U.S. in talks.
