Astha Chadha is a Non-resident WPS Fellow at the Pacific Forum, Hawaii, and a visiting researcher at the Democracy Promotion Center at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, Japan. Astha works on Indian foreign policy, strategic affairs of the Indo-Pacific, and Women, Peace, and Security policies in the Indo-Pacific. She has researched India–Japan relations, strategic rivalries in the Indo-Pacific, and the impact of religion on international relations. Astha received her doctorate in Asia Pacific studies from Ritsumeikan APU, master’s degree in international relations from Ritsumeikan APU, master’s degree in economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, and bachelor’s degree in economics with honors from the University of Delhi.
