Tran Thi Mong Tuyen

Tran Thi Mong Tuyen (VNM) is a Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) Fellow and Visiting Scholar in Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences at National Taiwan University (NTU). Previously, she worked on the project of China’s rise under the guidance of a German political scientist who serves as a researcher at NATO in Brussels, Belgium. Also, she worked on a project concerning neo-functionalism theory in analyzing the integration of the ASEAN and EU at European Union Headquarters in Luxembourg. She earlier served as an intern at public diplomacy in Vietnam’s government. She has joined in Pacific Forum’s Young Leader program since 2012 and selected to attend some conferences in security and foreign policies in Indo – Pacific. Ms. Tuyen holds a MSc. in International Relations from the United Kingdom and attended Master Erasmus Mundus from France. Her research interests focus on maritime security, the US’s foreign policy, East Asia politics, the EU and ASEAN integration.
