About this Session
Although they are not claimants, seafaring nations such as the United States and Australia see their interests as inextricably bound to the ongoing debates surrounding the South China Sea. During this webinar, panelists exchanged insights on how the US and Australia can support the dispute resolution process in this increasingly contested region, drawing insights and recommendations from Australia and East Timor’s landmark 2018 maritime boundary treaty in particular.
