On March 11-12, 2006, 22 experts from across the Asia Pacific convened in Vancouver for the second meeting of the CSCAP Study Group on Regional Peacekeeping and Peacebuilding. Participants came from South Asia, Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and North America, and had extensive professional training in government, military, civilian policing, academia, NGOs, and former and current UN and other multilateral monitoring, peacekeeping, and peacebuilding missions.
