Current  President Bob Girrier, Rear Admiral, USN (Ret.) notes that, “Having led the Forum during the transition to our original fully-independent status over the last several years, I’m particularly delighted to see our organization acknowledged in three distinct categories in an annual global think tank index report released last week: Ranking as one of the “2020 Top Think Tanks in the U.S.,” among the “2020 Best New Think Tanks” (worldwide), and one of “2020 Think Tanks With the Most Significant Impact on Public Policy” (worldwide). Pacific Forum is a vibrant team and impactful organization, steadily growing despite the challenges of pandemic we’ve all experienced over the past year. I look forward to passing the helm and seeing our growth continue while remaining on hand as a Board member, to assist my successor in whatever manner they desire.”
