In partnership with Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO), Pacific Forum is proud to present a joint project promoting Taiwan 2024, highlighting the enduring importance of the Taiwan Relations Act (TRA) on its 45th anniversary.
This project focuses on the shared values of freedom, democracy, and the critical role Taiwan plays in global supply chains.
The dialogues explore the US-Taiwan partnership, why peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait matter to global prosperity, and Taiwan’s significance in regional security, with experts such as TECO Director General, Richard Lin, and Pacific Forum President and CEO, David Santoro, alongside Ralph Cossa, President Emeritus and WSD-Handa Chair in Peace Studies, and Denny Roy, Senior Fellow at the East West Center and Supervisor of POSCO Fellowship Program.
